What you need to know first

IIV is a group of independent Polkadot validators.

We always do our best to prevent slashing or any other kind of issue but following this guide you accept you are staking at your risk and our validators are not responsabile of any  irreversible losses and we can't compensate them.

We are not required to give any explanation about our staking service and we are free to interrupt or change the terms without notice.

It is recommended you read and understend how staking works by following official polkadot wiki.

Prerequisites
Account and Funds

In order to proceed with this guide, you need to have your funds on a Polkadot address by using Polkadot.JS.

Your funds can be on a normal address or on a ledger one. We are ledger friendly and we manage payouts automatically.  You do not need to do anything else after staking with us!

Stacking Section
Where the fun begins!

Open the Staking tab by clicking on Network > Staking. Then, click on Account actions.

When it loads, click on + Nominator

Setup Nominator (1/2)
Prepare your Nominator account

This window will appears:

Follow these instructions:

  1. Stash Account → Choose the address containing your funds.
  2. Controller Account → Choose the same address or the controller address if you have setup one.
  3. Value Bonded → Enter the amount of DOT you want to be staked. Remember to leave some dot for fees!
  4. Payment Destination → Choose where the profits should go between:
    • Stash account (increase the amount at stake) if you want to stake the profits automatically
    • Stash account (do not increase the amount at stake) if you DO NOT want to stake profits automatically
    • Specified payement account if you want to redirect your profits to a specific account
  5. Next → Click on next to continue with the next actions.

Setup Nominator (2/2)
Select Validators

This window will appears:

For each address on the list:

  1. Copy and Search Address → Copy the address and paste it in the search field.
  2. Click the Validator → Click on the validator that will appear under candidate accounts. This will move it under nominated accounts
  3. Repeat! → Do actions 1 and 2 for all our validator in this list!
  4. Bond and Nominate → Finally, click on Bond and Nominate and be ready to sign the transaction. You are almost done!

Sign and Submit
Profit!

This window will appears:

For each address on the list:

  1. Unlock Account → Unlock your account by using your password.
  2. Sign and Submit → It's time to broadcast your transacitons!

Profit!

We are done! Enjoy your staking! All payouts are going to be processed automatically by us!
